In Nascar, they're usually in a rush to change the tires to minimize time in the pit. They already use airguns to remove/install lug nuts 1 at a time. I was thinking of a mechanism that could work all 5 lug nuts at once and is powered by the same airguns that are already in use. It could also have a braking bar and a torquing bar be attached to the same central driving mechanism that drives all 5 sockets since the pnuematic tools are not used to brake or torque nuts.
The average tire changer has no need for something like this but if it were to actually work, it could be marketed to Nascar teams.
